North Carolina Public Radio interviewed Creative EDC Founder and CEO Crystal Morphis about the reduction of the corporate income tax rate signed into law last week by Governor McCrory. The new law will reduce the corporate tax from 6.9% to 6.0% in 2014. In 2015, the corporate rate would drop to 5.0%, a 27% reduction from the current level.
