Creative EDC has received certification from the North Carolina Department of Administration, Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses. We are a 100% woman-owned business.
As former local economic developers, we have worked with businesses to receive HUB certification in order to aid with federal contracting. The HUB status is very useful to defense contractors and others that want to do business with the federal government. Creative EDC sought the designation to provide one more credential for our firm.
Crystal is also following in her grandma’s footsteps. Her grandma owned a bakery for almost 50 years. One of her contracts was baking cakes for the local school system. The school fulfilled HUB requirements while students ate the best cakes in the world – a win-win!
