ElectriCities has sponsored strategic planning for its member cities since 2003. Crystal Morphis has been the team leader on most of the strategic plans since the initiative was launched. Creative EDC began updating city strategic plans in 2017 and has completed more than 25 updates. The ElectriCities statewide strategic planning program is so successful that it has been expanded twice. In addition to strategic planning projects, ElectriCities has engaged Creative EDC for site identification and assessment, site qualification under the Smart Sites Program, building reuse feasibility studies, economic impact analysis, and many other projects that position their cities for growth. Currently, Creative EDC manages the Smart Sites and Site Assist programs and conducts economic impact analysis.
